During the on-going COVID-19 crisis, it is important that government and healthcare agencies have a real-time understanding of how and where people are located. DigitalRoute and ValvoAutomation are now partnering to combine their usage data and analytics solutions to give agencies real-time situational awareness of people’s movement.
Two weeks ago, DigitalRoute offered its Usage Data Platform for free as a tool for agencies to collect, process and anonymize location data provided by telecoms and companies like Google. ValvoAutomation, a provider of an AI-powered analytics solution, is now adding to this offer with their Navigator platform, which can analyze and visualize the data results in real time.
“After our initial announcement to offer our Usage Data Platform to help with the COVID-19 crisis, we had a great response from our large partner ecosystem,” says Andreas Zartmann, CEO at DigitalRoute. “Our platform is one piece of the puzzle in giving agencies real-time location data. After our platform collects, processes and anonymizes the data, the Navigator platform will now enable agencies to visualize the data on dashboards.”
By combining the Usage Data Platform and Navigator, along with critical usage data from other providers, agencies will be able to get a better overview of the situation so they can make more informed decisions.
“Our Navigator platform can analyze the flow of people in different parts of the city or regions, such as how people are commuting to and from work every day,” says Jukka Rantala, CEO of ValvoAutomation. “We hope that our partnership with DigitalRoute will help agencies better plan their response to the COVID-19 outbreak.”
Any government or healthcare agencies, telecoms or companies with usage data that are interested in this solution are encouraged to contact DigitalRoute. The Usage Data Platform and Navigator will be provided free of charge to help with the COVID-19 crisis.
